Priorities and Countdown to Boston

With all the snow/ice we've been getting up here, it's been quite difficult to keep on track with getting in the mileage that we want each week. Luckily, we have our indoor bike trainers right in our apartment that make it SO easy to get in a hard cross-training workout. On nights where I get home late from work/school, and it's snowing and icy out, and running isn't an option and the trek to the gym isn't too enticing, it's so nice to have the opportunity to just hop on the trainer and ride for an hour or so. And we definitely get a solid workout in. 10 minutes in, sweat is pouring off of us. And all the while, we get to watch TV while working out. Some of our guilty pleasure TV shows are Teen Mom, How I Met Your Mother, and Tosh.0. Lately we've been getting in a couple episodes while riding together, and it's nice.

However, the bike trainers and our bikes do take up quite a bit of room in our small Boston apartment. So in the space that should really be our dining room, we have our bikes. :) And that's fine with us. We eat dinner on a tiny table every night. Priorities. :)

Guess which one is Miss Bethany's

Lovie bikes. Side-by-side.

Dinnertime.
(Ok, so we don't normally eat on this small table, we typically eat at a table twice this size, but we have some roof/ceiling issues in our apartment with some leaking in our bedroom due to the snow/ice up there, so we've had to move everything from our bedroom into our living room, so it's kind of a mess in there now.)

The Boston Marathon countdown has begun! Hope you guys are getting excited!

I didn't know Ryan liked pink so much!!

I have been spending lots of quality time with my trainer, but not due to weather, due to this damn injury.

Yes, Boston is fast approaching. I hope my body will be ready. Not sure. But would really love to meet you guys!!

Ha, ha!! I definitely see BS and I paring down, ditching the table and putting trainers in its place! I loved the pix of Ryan eating at that tiny table. Yes, priorities. I love yours!!

I wish I could just come and spectate at Boston...Maybe someday :)

That tiny table is perfect. You get sitting crunches in while eating!

I'm so impressed with how all of you east coasters deal with the winter, I'm a wimp and would never last! We had some crazy warm weather this week, 75 today on my run! I promise I won't complain, I promise!
Have a good week!!

You guys drink milk with dinner, how sweet is that? Love my trainer and the ability to watch trash TV guilt free. Still, I am tired of the snow, it's been so rough to run outside this winter.

It's always nice to have options for getting in a workout when the weather is bad. Watching trashy TV is a must while sitting on the trainer.

They just got MTV on the tv's at my gym, so now I am finally getting caught up on Teen Mom and Jersey Shore. Those shows are so trashy and so addicting. Whatever keeps me on that treadmill/elliptical longer ;)

I need Disney advice on my blog (from a post from last week), and since you guys are experts, I'd love to hear any tips you have!

Love it!! I want another trainer now so I can set our bikes up like that! And wow, seriously...it's so good to a couple who has their priorities right! So refreshing! =)

So what is that you have on your bike? the gray padding like thing? Is that for sweat?

I told my husband I would prefer a treadmill in place of our dining table!! I think your priorities are perfectly in line!

"Dreadmill" or stationary bike? I have the first but I use it only when here it's stormy weather.
Beautiful small table!
Boston is one ocean far what a pity!
