5 Things Friday

1. I have been terrible about reading blogs lately, I read a few here and there but I'm really struggling to keep up. *IF YOU ARE ON TWITTER, PLEASE COMMENT AND LEAVE YOUR TWITTER NAME.* I don't even know what it's called...a twitter name?? I want to follow you on twitter so we can stay in touch because I am able to go on Twiter via my blackberry but I can't always read blogs on my blackberry. Thanks.

2. New Bedford Half Marathon coming up on Sunday, not doing this one for speed but rather pushing handicapped children in wheelchairs, should be interesting!

3. Poor Ryan hurt himself last night!!!! We were going for a run and about 5 steps into the run he stopped and hunched over in pain/discomfort. Not sure what happened :-( He seems a little better today but he is still walking funny so we don't really know how it is. He can walk but cannot push-off.

4. We signed up for Goofy's Challenge this week. It will be my 7th Goofy and Ryan's 2nd. I think we will do the 5k this year with my parents too.

5. Did you know that we are going back to Alaska in June???

Have a great day and a great weekend! Who is racing?? Good luck!

I love that picture of you two. Ya'll (that's my southern slang coming out) are just too cute. So can't wait to hear all about your race this weekend. You two are ROCKSTARS!!!!! I'm bad about updating my twitter, so need to work on it.

Very exciting news on Goofy AND Alaska!

Sounds like you are in for quite the experience at the half this weekend - enjoy!

sadly i don't think i'll be at the half. i'll be too tempted to race it and that's probably the last thing i need for my leg.

good luck though! and feel better ryan!

What a great event! I am sure you'll get more out of that race than any other.

I hope that Ryan works out his boo-boo and it's nothing serious.

Alaska. Okay, going back. I have yet to get there. I'm jealous.

I'm racing this weekend on Saturday. Yipee!

Ouch! I hope Ryan feels better soon. I hate those kind of mystery injuries. Great picture of the two of you!

Hope Ryan is feeling better. Injuries suck!

Okay the race pushing wheelchairs sounds amazing!!! I bet you'll have a lot of fun with that.

Super jealous about the Alaska trip...I would love to get up there and run in a race!

So glad you're going to be doing Goofy again. I'm all registered too and can't wait to do it again :)!

Okay - Disneyland during the honeymoon! So excited for you!!! It's a lot of fun to see where it all started. At Disneyland, you must do - Indiana Jones, Haunted Mansion, Pirates (much longer at Disneyland), Space Mountain, Storybook Canal Boats, Tiki Room (the original), Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...then of course there's Splash Mountain, Big Thunder, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, Small World, etc...So many cool things to see. I can't remember your dates, but at California Adventure, you may get to see the new Little Mermaid ride. You should check out World of Color if you like night time shows. Monster's Inc is pretty cute, Tower of Terror, California Screamin', Soarin' (the queue is great here), Grizzle River Run, Toy Story, etc...Let me know if you need any hotel information, transportation, etc...I can give you more information if you need.

Alaska is so beautiful! My aunt lives in Wasilla and a college friend and I visited her back in 2008. Enjoy your trip up there!

Hi! Found your blog through ROTE. So amazed by you goofy people who do Goofy... I've done Donald a couple times and just signed up for my first MICKEY!!! Looking forward to following your blog.

Wow, your seventh Goofy? That's incredible. Love that the two of you both run.

I saw your note on ROTE - thanks for your message. I'm on Twitter @lisasfoods. And I am in Massachusetts, in the Berkshires.

B - this post is in response to yours on my blog. I'm UTRunner on ROTE. I know, I'm really lucky that I get to do as many Disney races as I do. My best friend and I are huge Disney fans, and our families humor us and travel along (it helps that my dad's a big runner, so getting him to do Disney races has been a big +)!
